The trainings are designed for the civil society organisations and local authorities from Georgia eligible for applying at least as co-applicants for the EU’s CSO/LA and EIDHR call for proposals for minimum budget action of 250,000 Euro.

The trainings will be organised in Georgia in February 2018 upon the request of the Delegation of the European Union to Georgia.

On 15-18 January 2018, on the request of the Delegation of the European Union in Armenia, the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Facility organized a training “EU Grants Procedures and Management, including Financial and Budgetary Questions” for 30 representatives of recently launched EU-funded projects in Armenia.

The projects’ representatives were introduced to the EU policies on civil society and participated in an intensive training on specific issues related to the implementation of EU-funded projects, including: 1) Approaches and tools for project design; 2) Problems and causes for unsuccessful projects; 3) Financial and contractual issues, including rules and procedures of sub-granting; 4) Practical work on logical frameworks and achievement indicators; 5) Monitoring, evaluation and project reporting.

In addition, the projects’ partners got a chance to get individual coaching from the key trainer, Mrs. Tanja Hafner Ademi, on issues relevant for their specific projects.
