Innovative Education Foundation (IEF)
Innovative Education Foundation was founded in 2010 in Georgia. The mission of organization is to promote education by means of modern technologies. IEF supports the development of electronic educational resources; the implementation and dissemination of innovative education methods; the creation of innovative learning environments; promoting civic education through technology; conducting research and studies related to digital and online learning.
IEF team actively cooperates with local experts and trainers, and also engages organizations, consultants and instructors from the Eastern Partnership and the Central European regions in innovative projects contributing to technology enhanced learning and capacity building. Main areas of IEF expertise include:
- Online educational resources development: educational electronic portal Kodala Academy includes the original video lessons in variety of subjects with focus on Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM).
- Civil Society capacity building: IEF contributes to CSO training and capacity building development focusing on digital skills and Civic Tech.
- Women in Tech promotion: IEF runs social campaign Girls doing STEM – aiming at empowering girls to enter STEM careers.
- Science Education Support and Science Communication: IEF has been promoting Science through developing knowledge and skills of Science teachers; supporting science fairs; fostering cooperation of scientists and high-schools; raising public awareness about modern science.

The Institute for European Policies and Reforms (IPRE)
The Institute for European Policies and Reforms was established in March 2015 as an independent think-tank. IPRE is specialised in research, analysis and advocacy of policies in the areas of public administration, good governance, rule of law, public finances and economic development. IPRE’s experts and researchers are also active in assessing national, transatlantic and European foreign and security policies.
IPRE’s Mission is to accelerate the European integration of the Republic of Moldova by promoting systemic reforms, enhancing participatory democracy, and strengthening the role of citizens in national and local decision-making processes. IPRE’s key priorities are to promote the Europeanization process, building policy bridges on the national, regional and European levels and contributing to community development and empowering citizens.
Since it was established, IPRE has become one of the leading Moldovan and Eastern Partnership think-tanks, specialised on issues of European integration, foreign and security policy, promoting good governance and rule of law policies, affirming itself as a credible reference centre for research, policy development and empowerment. At the same time, IPRE managed to go beyond traditional research-based think-tank, contributing to citizens’ participation in assessment and promoting public policies. IPRE is also active in promoting policies and research via tailored advocacy effort on the national, regional and European levels in particular.

Center for Innovations Development (CID)
Center for Innovations Development is the Ukrainian leading analytical center started as an initiative on the basis of the National University of “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy” in 2013. CID was officially established as NGO in 2015. CID was among co-founders of the largest coalition of Ukrainian – think tanks Reanimation Package of Reforms. CID started it’s projects from successfully initiating and implementation of the Law on e-petitions, legalization of e-appeals, development of new tools of e-democracy in Ukraine on the National and local levels, including Kyiv and dozens of other municipalities. In 2016-2017 CID assisted Kyiv Municipality and later other Ukrainian municipalities in designing and implementation of the new model of the Participatory Budgeting (PB) based on new approaches to build social activism, intensive use of IT for automatization and transparency at all stages of PB.
Beside e-democracy activities starting from Kyiv in 2015 CID is advizing to municipalities on e-governance and SmartCity development issues. In 2017 CID advocated legalization of e-Dem policy by developing the Strategy and Action Plan of the Government of Ukraine on e-Democracy development which were adopted in 2017. According to UNDP e-governance survey 2020 Ukraine has improved its position in the rating and now is among top 50 countries in the World on e-participation Index, while Kyiv is among top-20 leading cities.
Since 2018 CID conducted annually Local eDem Index survey which was recently considered by the e-Government as the good basis for developing the state statistics on eDemocracy.
