In 2023, two calls for applications for the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Fellowship Programme were launched. We received over 400 applications from the six EaP countries and selected 35 new Fellows who joined our Fellowship network. The EU-funded EaP Civil Society Facility Project has administered the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Fellowship programme since 2017. To-date, with a new cohort of Fellows selected, the Fellowship alumni has a total of 181 Fellows from across the six countries of the EaP. Details about the Fellows 2017-2023 and their activities.

Learning for Liberation: Adult Education for Empowerment of Marginalized Communities
Fellowship Summary: The fellowship project will promote adult education approaches to capacity-building programmes for marginalized groups. The fellow will undertake analysis of NGO training programmes working with ethnic minorities, domestic violence survivors, LGBTI people, and people with disabilities, then design and delivery of ToT (with handbook) for the trainers from these NGOs on how to apply adult education approaches to their work.

Fellowship Summary: The fellow will explore the factors affecting transition to adulthood for rural NEET (‘not in education or employment’) youth in the Samtskhe-Javakheti, with a focus on ethnic minorities and girls, in order to identify the underlying socio-economic, cultural, and educational barriers that prevent them from transitioning to adulthood successfully.
