Increasing the public awareness of CSOs in the EaP countries, improving their public image and promoting EU support to civil society in the region are the priorities that have always been at the core of our Project.
We bring these priorities into existence through a number of activities, including: strengthening CSOs’ communication skills and supporting the beneficiaries of EU grant funds in developing and implementing communication activities; supporting co-operation and networking among civil society actors in the EaP countries and with the EU through consultations, attendance of events and exchange of information and experiences; informing Project stakeholders of and engaging them in its activities, and promoting the Project role as an integrator and capitalisation centre.
One of the tasks of our Project is to contribute to a positive public perception of CSOs as actors of change, community mobilisers and service providers and to raise awareness at local, national and EaP levels about the importance of the role of the civil society actors in the reforms and changes taking place in the region. To do so we will organise a series of information campaigns to demonstrate the tangible results delivered by civil society organisations in each EaP country to citizens.
