Free Travel and Production Support to Cover the Eastern Partnership Summit in Brussels! Apply before October 20, 2017 24 :00 CET

The OPEN Media Hub is inviting journalists from EaP countries to apply for a free trip and top production support to cover the Eastern Partnership Summit on the 24th of November in Brussels. The OPEN Media Hub will facilitate your news coverage with a pre-Summit briefing on November 23rd, attendance of the Summit , and state-of-the-art production mentoring on November 25th.

In order to be selected, OPEN Media Hub requires interested journalists to pitch for and, if selected, to produce a story ahead of the trip to illustrate EU in action in their country and the Eastern Partnership summit’s key themes:

  • stronger economy: economic development and better market opportunities;
  • stronger governance: strengthening of institutions and good governance;
  • stronger connectivity: enhancing interconnections, notably in the areas of transport and energy;
  • stronger society: increasing mobility and contacts between people.

The OPEN Media Hub will be covering the costs of travel, accommodation, meals and insurance, as well as visa costs for the participants who need a visa for Belgium.
