OUR SPEAKERS:
Gohar Khachatryan
With a background in Social Work, Social Policy, and Sociology, Gohar is committed to using participatory research tools and personal/community stories to influence policy changes. She is a co-founder of “Change Armenia“, a Social-Healthcare NGO aimed at transforming social healthcare policies and promoting human rights-based, diverse services and spaces for women and queer persons. She lectures at Yerevan State University on diverse and inclusive social work practices.
Lado Javakhishvili
Lado is an experienced Law, Human Rights, and Policy Administration professional with more than a decade of experience. His experience includes evidence-based decision-making and research, as well as working on complex reforms based on international experience. He has experience in both public administration and civil society. He is currently in the USA as a Fulbright scholar, focusing on law and policy studies.
Iryna Ponedelnik
Iryna is a Board member of the Climate Action Network EECCA where she represents Green Network (Belarus) and is currently using her experience to assist young people in the Eastern Partnership to engage in debates around COP29 and has delivered a Climate Leadership School. She is an experienced policy analyst and with a network of academics and researchers is instrumental in monitoring progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals as implemented in her native Belarus.
Tutana Kvaratskhelia
Tutana is a senior energy policy analyst with nearly a decade of experience in energy policy research and analysis, focusing on energy poverty and the energy transition in Eastern Partnership countries. Her work includes contributions to the draft National Energy Policy Document of Georgia, the Regulatory Impact Assessment of the new Energy Law of Georgia, and other strategy and policy documents. As a recipient of the ‘3rd Lights on Women’ scholarship from the Florence School of Regulation, she recently completed courses on the EU Green Deal.
