In May-November 2015 the EU-funded Project ‘Civil Society.Dialogue for Progress’ (the Project) implemented the Training of Trainers (ToT) programme for civil society representatives willing to become trainers for CSOs in the Eastern Partnership countries.
Overall, 22 participants from six countries received certificates of completion and became the graduates of the ToT programme. To implement the received skills and knowledge in practice, the ToT graduates were offered an opportunity to apply for small grants from the Project – namely, to submit proposals for their own training projects.
The graduates were responsible for their projects in terms of design, preparation, organisation, training delivery, and reporting – so, in this way they could test in real life everything they had learned during the ToT trainings.
Almost all participants of the ToT programme developed their own training projects and applied for the grants offered by the Project. The trainings developed by the ToT graduates focused on advocacy skills, institutional sustainability and capacity development of CSOs, monitoring and evaluation for CSOs, project design and management, and public speaking. Now we would like to introduce some of the ToT training projects implemented by our participants in our new series of success stories – please find them below
