CSO Resilience in Times of Crisis: From Burnout to Sustainable Action / Webinar for Activists and CSO Leaders

02/03/2026

An Essential Webinar for Activists and CSO Leaders:

CSO Resilience in Times of Crisis: From Burnout to Sustainable Action,

11th March 2026 / 14:00 CET

Burnout and fatigue are increasingly threatening the effectiveness, and even survival, of community groups and organisations working in humanitarian response and social justice.

In this webinar, Veaceslav Luca, an EaP Civil Society Fellow from Moldova with over 15 years of experience in the development sector, will share practical approaches to building organizational and personal resilience. Since the start of the refugee crisis, Veaceslav has been supporting civil society organisations (CSOs) in Moldova and Ukraine to strengthen their operational capacity, manage stress, and prevent burnout while continuing to support Ukrainian refugees. Veaceslav and his colleagues will share their good practices and provide guidance on how CSOs and individuals can plan for resilience and sustain their work in times of prolonged crisis.

Key topics of the webinar:

  • Understanding resilience at individual, team, and organisational level
  • Key risks: burnout, overload, and organisational fatigue in civil society
  • Building sustainable resilience: leadership, culture, and internal systems
  • Case from a Moldovan CSO: Practical experience in supporting staff wellbeing and resilience
  • Case from a Ukrainian CSO: Maintaining organisational resilience under prolonged crisis conditions & tools and practices used to support teams

Register for the webinar here! After the registration you will then receive a link to join the webinar on 11th March. The webinar will be delivered in English.
