One of the objectives of “Civil Society. Dialogue for Progress” is to conduct mappings of CSOs in the six target countries, identifying and analysing civil society actors’ needs and capacities to get involved in policy dialogue in each country. The goal of the mapping exercises is to provide the EU with an in-depth analysis of the CSO landscape in each country. The ways in which these actors can contribute to specific sector policy dialogues is also covered. The mappings should be a useful tool for EU Delegations, DG DEVCO (and other donors) to define national and regional engagement with CSOs. The results of the mapping can be viewed in the different country sections. Currently further research activities are carried out in different formats like mini-mappings or baseline studies on special requests from the European Delegations or the European Commission.
