Build Your CSO’s Digital Skills: Join Our New Hybrid Course

01/05/2026

We are launching a new hybrid course to support civil society organisations in the Eastern Partnership in strengthening their digital competence.

The course combines online diagnostic sessions, in-person workshops, and practical one-to-one coaching. Participating CSOs will be able to focus on their priority needs –  whether this means improving how they access and use data, using digital tools more effectively for communication and outreach, or strengthening their cybersecurity.

The course will start on 17 June 2026 and finish by the end of September 2026.

Who is it for?

The course is designed for CSO managers, staff members, and volunteers who directly influence how their organisation works with data and technology, and who would describe themselves as beginner to medium-level practitioners.

Participants should:

  • have a long-term role within their CSO, as the course is designed to build organisational, rather than individual, capacity;
  • bring at least one practical example of how stronger digital competence could benefit their organisation’s work;
  • be ready to take part in continued peer-to-peer learning and support;
  • have a working knowledge of English.
Course structure and examples of topics

The course is designed around the EU Digital Competence Framework. Participants will be guided through a diagnostic process to identify the most relevant areas for their organisation. The course content will then be adapted to the needs of the selected group.

Indicative topics may include:

  • basics of prompt engineering and comparing AI tools;
  • using AI research tools;
  • content creation tools and best approaches to content development;
  • secure communication tools;
  • foundational cybersecurity and best practices.
When and how will it be delivered?

Selected participants will be invited to take part in:

  • Online Opening Session – 17 June 2026
    Introduction to the course, methodology, training team and other participants, as well as the start of the diagnostic process.
  • Three webinars – mid-June 2026
    Sessions covering technical basics and further exploring participants’ needs through the diagnostic process.
  • Two-day ‘face-to-face’ workshop
    The workshops are provisionally planned for:
    • Yerevan: 3-4 July 2026
    • Chisinau: 11-12 July 2026
    • Please note participants will be invited to one workshop only, at a location decided by the organisers.
  • Individual online coaching sessions – July to September 2026
    Practical one-to-one support to help participants implement selected actions to improve their organisation’s digital competence.
  • Final online event – September 2026
    A session to review and evaluate participants’ progress during the course.
